Lara Croft can’t seem to get a break. Eurogamer reports that a new Lara Croft game is under development and it may just be the best looking title in the series. While this probably made fans of the series cringe in the past (pre-Tomb Raider Legend) the idea of a next-gen Tomb Raider no longer seems like a bad idea.
The biggest aspect being touted by Ian Livingstone in his interview with Eurogamer is the graphics, "I've seen some of the in-game models and it's just like watching television; if you felt you were in love with Lara Croft previously, you ain't seen nothing yet. You'll be drooling when you see the new Lara as she appears in the next iteration."
As with all announcements, no release date has been given so we can expect this new Tomb Raider game to be a fair ways off. To hold off gamers though a second Tomb Raider game known as the 10th anniversary game will be released in the mean time. This game is meant to take all the favored moments from the Tomb Raider series and inject a healthy dose of next-gen into them.
Looks like Lara is all set for the next-gen arena.

Old news? Anyway, I thought it was interesting.
