This is nothing compared to the talent that's around here but I just felt like sharing what I did in photoshop.

I decided to change an image of Lara Croft from TR1 into an old style photograph version . This was the result:

I played around with the noise feature, the fibres feature and then desaturated the pic before adding some colour overlays (the red colour on the lips were a second overlay on the picture to add a bit of life to it)

Let me know whether or not the "old photograph" style I was aiming for worked. :)

It definately looks like an old photo...(great job) ;) ...but you could do something with the lips if you would like to give a more old 'impression'...because they seem to be more coloured than the hole pic.->but that's not very important...

Thanks Laramania, I think that I might have detracted from the original aim of making it look old by experimenting with the red colour on her lips? It just seemed right at the time but I'll definately take on board what you say. Perhaps if I used a paler red it would help? I can see what you mean now I look at it from that perspective.

I personally think the prominence of her lip color is a nice touch. It somehow gives a classic feel to it. An art. :tmb: Nice one, Reggie. ;)

Hehe.. Thanks :D Just shows what can be done in about 10 mins on Photoshop :D
