I have a HP Pavilion with an AMD Turion 64X2 (1.6GHZ, 256KB + 256KB L2 cache, up to 1600MHz system bus), 1024MB of RAM, 100GB 5400rpm hard drive, and a nVidia geforce 6150 256MB. The graphic card shares some memory with the the main computer ram, therefor I only have 958MB of ram. I was wondering if I could change this by adding more ram. Also, would I be able to change the hard drive size and the AMD chip? I was also wondering if windows vista will make a difference on my machine (compared to XP home edition).

Forget it, amitabha.
What can I upgrade in a laptop? (http://www.computerhope.com/issues/ch000618.htm)
:)

Probably you can run Vista basic, that is without the Aero theme.

You're talking Turkey :-) But you can buy a laptop that will be good for applications including games for not a lot of money nowadays. BTW laptops are not upgrade friendly.
