After you have played a streaming movie, it is stored in your
C:\Documents and Settings\*your name*\Local Settings\Temporary Internet Files.

Look there for it, and copy it to another folder.
Note: this doesn't work always, but most of the times; sometimes they are blocked.

YouTube's Help Center (http://www.youtube.com/t/help_cat06) says that you cannot download their videos on your HDD. Unless it can be done with a third-party program (like Google using Firefox or another browser, but not IE). But I doubt.

If you want to save it to a certain location then use a website like www.keepvid.com.

But it usually does save in your temp internet files, so you can watch parts of it while it loads. :)

i use keepvid to save it to my harddrive and then CinemaForge ("http://www.download.com/CinemaForge/3000-2169_4-10373646.html') to convert them to something useable. the free version of the program is perfect for small videos like those on youtube.

You can also use http://1024k.de/bookmarklets/video-bookmarklets.html to download them. The way it works in youtube is to go to the page the video is on, then click on the bookmarklet. This takes you to a page where you can do a "save as" on the Youtube movie link and save it wherever you want.

Afterwards, I use Super video converter to convert the video in xvid or mp4 format to play on my iPod, for example.

If i say, im using a Website to download Movies and TV Series and Music, i will immediatly get banned from this Site right, because its ilegal.

Now my Question is, whats the diffrence with Youtube where i watched 9 Full Pokemon Movies today with a few other Movies aswell or i watched Music Videos or my favourite TV Series, will i still get banned from this Site and is it still ilegal.

What exactly is ilegal if Youtube allows such stuff and shouldend that Website sort of get closed down if the Creators of that Site dont do anything about it.

Just imagine if Justin just gave us everything you wanna know about TRA, this Forum Board would get closed down and he will go to Jail.

Daventry: you can do whatever you want on your own PC. Youtube exists and millions enjoy it.
That is completely different to illegal downloads. You may do whatever illegal things on your own PC.
You will never get banned for this.

You can only get banned when violating our Terms and Conditions (http://www.tombraiderforums.com/faq.php?faq=vb_faq#faq_new_faq_item_tandc) which include the direct/indirect spreading of illegal material via this forum.

Im starting to love Youtube more, i never really looked into it, i only discoverd it more when you could view Music Videos or some funny Clip, then i searched for some TV Series and actually saw you can watch a Full Episode and that was Awsome, but this was the First time that i notice you can watch Full Movies and i was very Amazed.

So Youtube is now my Favourite Program :jmp:
