Hi all
is TRA will be have that ugly plants and trees ??

a lot better was in Legend
I hope that this is only lores textures (PS2) and PC players will have a better one ;p
Is a Next Gen will be available on TRA ?? I think it wont because there is no X360 version for now, but i hope i'm wrong
je je,.. you are right,.. also i find the game textures a little bit non rendered,.... i mean they are quite funny,... hope in future they will fix them,.. afterall they still have something to do eh?...

i know that is still much time to do and i hope they willl fix this andd other bugs, maybe we should create a topic called "TRA Bugs until premiere ;p"
no next gen mode ;( but it's not that important, i hope the game will turn me back in time in 10 years, and i hope the gampley will be fine at least like in trailer.
Where's the problem? It's retro-stye; a tribute to the engine of TR1-5 :ton:
I'm sure they will smooth things out when they have got all the basics of the game finished ;) Hopefully !

Correct. I think AE should be next gen. Some of what we see is hardly a step up from the original game.
Never mind the plant in that screen shot, look at Lara, she is very jaggy.
There's also many stretched textures in some pics. so i think they use low detail when they play. Hard to explane XD

I'm sure it will be fixed though, Legend looked better than this. Oh and I'm sure the PC version will look better than the PS2 version as well.
It's the square plant lol. Remember, theses things are usually sorted out before the game is released.

Its probably just unfinished textures! even so they look better than TR1 plants! All that really matter is the gameplay!

I suppose same people who care about Lara's hair, outfits, and all the tiniest details a game can contain.
Anyway, i see nothing wrong with the plan itself. Looks like the one I have.

I know there won't be a next gen mode for the PC (I dont think) but I do hope the graphics for the pc version are much better than ps2. The textures I've seen so far aren't up to par.

They have still got some bugs to work out.
Like every game, don't expect it to be perfect.
Normally I've found all the nitpicky threads to be, well... nitpicky, but that plant actually is looking pretty rough. I'm pretty sure they could do better... If it stays, I doubt I'll be paying much attention to it, but making it look a little less pixelated would be nice.

Isn't the point of remaking TR1 to show off todays graphical capabilities? :/ that plant is hideous.
I think it's perfectly reasonable to point out flaws like these... But then, I pay alot of attention to detail.

This happened in TRL screens. The PS2 screens always come out worse than what they usually are. TRA will be great I know it. Don't let a plant ruin your views.

PC has lower graphics than PS2? :D :D :DSeems that you have no clue what we're talking about. All right, i'll expalin for you:
- a PC gives the widest range of variables in a game's settings: from the lowest to the (depending on the quality of the graphic card/CPU/RAM) highest.
- on a PS2 the settings are more or less fixed, and are mediocre.
So, on a PC you can get as well much lower but also much higher quality than on a PS2.

PSP has the lowest graphics but it has good graphics for a portable.

I assumed that the game is still far from done. Certain things look thrown together or just not finished. I hope they dont rush this for the sake of sales.
