Hey,

1. What you must do is first install the drivers from the CD. If you start with the downloaded drivers, it will not detect your card.

2. You MUST disable the onboard soundchip in BIOS. Audio Adapter Intel 82801EB ICH5 - AC'97 Audio Controller
In BIOS, search for onboard AC '97 device. Disable it.

Still the same I'm afraid.

This is the message I get:

1. Shut down the PC.
2. Take out the card.
3. While booting the PC, press 'Del' to get into BIOS.
4. Disable onboard AC '97.
5. Reboot PC and determine you have NO sound.
6. Shut off the PC.
7. Put the card into a free slot (try the bottom one, or the one above that)
8. Reboot the PC and cancel every Windows message about "found new hardware".
9. Install the Audigy drivers from the Creative CD. You can cancel Registration. Registration is an annoying menu that can disturb installation 'popping up' on the background, waiting for your reaction while you don't even see it (:cln: ), just keep patient and cancel it when you see it.
10. Reboot the PC. This time, update the drivers from http://www.creative.com/language.asp?sDestUrl=/support/downloads/su.asp

Ah it worked :D
I think changing it to another slot mostly did the job.
Thank you Joseph :)
