ok, Im in the process of creating my own theme for my SE K800i which i got for christmas. Everything is going fine except for this.

As you can see the highlight for the icon the cursor is on is supposed to be a black paint splat.

Now i am making the image in photoshop with a transparent background and just using paintbrushes so there shouldnt be a white border like there is.

I tried saving it as a .GIF but the white appears around it and obviously .JPEG is out of the question.

Does anyone know how i can save the image withoutthe white. What format can i use

ICO maybe with top left pixel of the same colour with what you want ot be transparent ;)

You make a file of Windows Icon type with your picture, and the left upper pixel of that file should be white aswell as all outlining. When displaying all of that colour will be transparent ;)

I worked it out , the file format that worked was .PNG what ever that is lol

Yeah, try .PNG. Both GIF and PNG support transparency.
