Arrgh!

After years of not being able to play Tomb Raider on my PC, I used the TR Installer and successfully got TR1 and the UB levels working again. Joy!! PLaued through TR.. ah, memories... then moved on to UB. As I only ever got to play the UB levels through once before (and since I can't remmember what I did last week, let alone a good 5 - 6 yeras ago...) it was like having brand-new levles to explore again... life is goooood!

But then I get to the Atlantean Stronghold... and accidently make use of a graphical glitch that send me right to the end of the level! 'Ohh' I thought 'I thought that level went on for longer... oh well', so off I trot to the Hive. After playing through for a while longer, I log off to make some lunch and decide to take advantage of the walkthrough to see where the secrets were for the Temple of the Cat levels.. and find out my horrible mistake! Nooo! And the worst thing is... I've now over-written ALL my Atlantean Stronghold saves. *sobs* Soooo unfair...

Ah well, good excuse to run round the first two levels again, I suppose!

Are the UB levels fun? I'm stuck with the PS version of the Tr games and I can't play them. :(

And have you played Tr2 gold and LA?

I've played every single TR game I can get my grubby paws on! I started playing on the PS, but got annoyed because they didn't release the Gold levels on it... I still prefer playing on a PS (the simple joy of a controller, and the fact that it is simply a case of 'plug in and play') but saying that I enjoyed the Gold levesl immensely - UB and LA just slightly over GM. I must admit, I am a real sucker for a new level to explore in... once I've got these downloadable levels sorted out (heh, Luddite here...) I'll be in new level heaven http://www.tombraiderforums.com/images/smilies/jumper.gif

So I think UB is a lot of fun (even if the mummies scare the bejesus out of me! http://www.tombraiderforums.com/images/smilies/whistle.gif )

You can play TR on a PC with a PS2 controller. I'm doing it now (I'm up to Natla's Mines).
