View Full Version : Problem With TR1 Controls...

Assassino
31-12-06, 20:08
Hi:)
A very recent problem, never happened before...the controls seem to 'run away' with me.
When I press a key once, she moves as if I have pressed the key 3-4 times with anything I do. When I want to draw guns she draws, holsters, draws and holsters again...making it impossible for me to use a weapon;same when turning on the spot, using a lever and using the menu rings...
It's doing my head in, I've checked the FAQ and checked my settings but nothing seems to work.
I know my PC isn't what you'd call amazing but it normally runs this game pefectly as well as most of the others.
Here's the Diagnostic report if it's needed.
Please help.
Leah.

You have in VDMSound selected
version=3.02 (SoundBlaster Pro 2). That is not right for your Vinyl AC'97 chip.
Make that "Soundblaster". Soundblaster 1.0

Do you have a unused gamepad connected to your PC? Unplug it and move it out of distance from the PC.

Another thing: play Tomb Raider with the LEFT Ctrl, Alt and Shift key and not the RIGHT ones.

but it normally runs this game pefectly as well as most of the others.
Try with another keyboard?

That hasn't solved the problem i'm afraid, but it's not as bad as before.

I only have a mouse connected as I use a wireless keyboard and mouse set...would that be part of the problem?

EDIT: I'll try another keyboard:)
