Release Notes.

New Features

This release of the ATI Catalyst™ Software Suite includes Crossfire™ enhancements that enable the Alternate Frame Rendering (AFR) Crossfire rendering mode by default so that users will see significant performance benefits across all AFR compatible applications immediately (including newly released applications, so users do not have to wait for a future ATI Catalyst™ release to add Crossfire™ support for newly released titles). Future ATI Catalyst™ releases will add further Crossfire™ performance gains once new applications have been profiled specifically for Crossfire™.

i noticed one thing when i ran these drivers.... the water in Legend (next-gen) looked different.
has anyone else seen this?
the "streamy" water in Bolivia was reflective of the light in a way i havent seen before. and the regular water in for example Ghana was more transparent then before. i dont know if thats something caused by this new driver, but i havent seen it before, and ive played legend like 50 hours now. ;)
i know ATi corrected the water with driver 6.8 (or was it 6.10).

in this image u can see that in the tomb in Ghana, the water shows less reflection of the environment above the surface, and more refraction of the environment under the surface. :wve:

I haven't tried it yet. The water in Nomedo's post indeed looks different from what i'm used to. I'll try it out tomorrow on a second XP-installation on another partition to compare.
