Lara Croft vs. Larson

Can anybody tell me what Larson says to Lara Croft when the cutscene begins in that beautiful cave with the giant waterfall? After having played (and finished) Tomb Raider more than 30 times, I still haven't been able to figure out what it is that he says to her. If anybody could tell me or point me through to some direction in order to find this particular piece of information, please? Furthermore: I wouldn't mind reading the entire conversation between Lara & Larson ...

Thanks for your help ... I really wanna know what he says to which she says: "Of course". And then he continues again with "You and that dribbling piece of a scion ..." But what does he say first before all of this, please? :-(

LARA: We're talking about the artifact here?

LARSON: Damn straight we are. Right up.

LARA: Hold on! Sorry. This piece you say. Where's the rest?

LARSON: Miss Natla put Pierre Dupont on that trail.

LARA: And where is that?

LARSON: Ha! Ya ain't fast enough for him!

LARA: So you think all this talking is just holding me up?

LARSON: I don't know where his little jackrabbit froglegs are running him to! You'll have to ask miss Natla.

(Lara punches him at that point.)

LARA: Thank you, I will!

Wow, i remember that part but i didn't take time to listen closely to what Larson was saying with his weird accent so i just fought and ignored what he said and listened to lovely Lara. XP

Ironically, I also knew every word that was said, but one thing I could never make out was this: "Aww, I'll heel and hide ya to a barn door yet!"

And now that I've read it I still don't know what it means. Does Larson means that he wants to bring Lara Croft down or something?

I also like it when Lara Croft and Larson meet one last time (in Tomb Raider 1; that is because they'll meet again in TRC where Larson (as well as Pierre) die then) and Larson says something in the lines of: "I still got a pain in my head from the other day and it's giving me strange ideas like to shoot you to h€ll!" :D

Thanks Nicky for the Lara v Laarson script. For some reason everytime I played the game when that cutscene appeared the was no sound. Wierd. Anyway I know now hat they said to each other. Thanks.

Muneeb, I had no sound either (in all the game). I finally had TR1 to run properly with Bokkie's Advanced Installer, VDMSound and Glidos. These three tools make TR1 run like a breeze and with all sounds (ambient, music, voices) http://www.tombraiderforums.com/images/smilies/wave.gif

Cool, but it's too late now, I don't have TR1 anymore :( it wouldn't work so I chucked it away then I came on this forum and saw all the help that you could get and programs and thought why did I chuck it away!!! NOOOOOO!!!!! But I might get it again, I never finished it.

I always thought he said something like "I'll heal and 'hadget'" I thought it meant that he will recover from the wounds etc. Never thought about really listening to what he said. For some reason I thought I understood the sentence anyway LOL I don't think the word "hadget" exists btw.

Since I played it the first time (1996) It got stuck... reminds me of the same phenomena when you listen to a song in a foreign language when you are a kid... and when you really learn the lyrics later on it is hard as h**l to get rid of the old jibberish ýou once learned ;)
