Tomb Raider 3 and GeForce 8800GTX

I recently bought a new GeForce 8800GTX. The first game I tried was Tomb Raider Legend with Next-Gen content and it works perfectly. After this, I tried to play Tomb Raider 3, but the sky and some object are looking weird. How can I fix this? Is there any patch for Tomb Raider 3 to fix this?

The multi updater is XP/Vista compatible! So as well for XP.

BTW, you installed patch 49? You needed to install patch v.42 first, then 49.

But again: the patches are included in the multi installer. Download, install and run it.

I'm very sorry for the confusion: i pasted a reply i made for another thread. But essentially it is not wrong. The multi-installer updates all TR games from TR2 ~6.

What you should do now, is

uninstall TR3
Run trrc.exe (http://www.tombraiderhub.com/download/trrc.exe) TR Registry Cleaner will remove all game settings left behind after uninstalling TR games.
re-install TR3
Apply the multi-updater.

Can you run diagnose.exe (http://www.tombraiderhub.com/download/diagnose.exe) and post the results please.

Your problem could be related to a drivers conflict on your 8800GTX, a very new card... i had not seen this error on that card reported before, so let's collect the specific info.

I can only say that the Tomb Raider Legend performance is awesome (I don't know how many fps, sorry). But I haven't tried with 16x antialiasing yet. Well here is the diagnose results:
