It's snowing here atm. :jmp:

It'll probably all be gone by tomorrow morning, but there's a thin layer of whiteness over the cars and grass, and the snow's drifting down so picturesquely (against the orange streetlamps, lol).

This is the first snow we've had since last winter. :D

Awesome. It snowed here once on New Year's Day for about ten minutes, then rained heavily. Hope it stays for you.

It snowed here all night too. We probably got 3 or 4 inches, nothing compared to the 16 inches we had before Christmas though! That was unreal.

i love snow! but we haven't had a good snow in a couple of years. we're actually lucky if we get more than three inches the entire season. :(

all it's done all day is flurry and they're really tiny flakes. i was surprised by it this morning, i asked one of my roommate this morning if it was raining and she said she didn't know. so i stepped out into the hallway and saw a black car with a little snow on it. i was like, "what's wrong with that ca...oh my God, it's snowing, Tiffany!!" lol

For those in the states, this is from the storm that's been making its way through the country.

My truck actually ended up worse than this but I couldn't take a photo since the freezing rain started up again a little while after I took this one. After having almost spring like weather for the past few weeks, I wasn't thrilled to have to deal with this.

Freck, where abouts in Scotland is Paisley? Anywhere near Inverness? :p Because I seriously want some snow here, I have an exam tommorow which I am NOT prepared for. The school being closed due to severe weather conditions would be a godsend xD

Inverness is East-coast, northern half of Scotland. Paisley is West-coast, southern/central. :p

I hear you. I had trouble getting the car door open. It froze shut over night. Always makes me late for work when I have to scrape off the windshield and windows.

The same thing happened to me when I got back home. My car had been sitting in my office parking lot for two weeks. It took me about ten minutes to get my car open since it was covered in over an inch of ice.

I've only seen snow once in my life, and it was during my trip to NJ from Florida to see my aunt. It was the most amazing winter ever! I saw how the climate slowly changed and the trees began to ice up from the rain that stained the trees and suddenly became ice on them. I saw the icy dangerous roads (And a few cars go off the road which kinda freaked me out).

But during my 2 week visit, it was in NY city, while walking at night that the picture perfect moment of it actually "snowing" came into existance and has forever been ingrained into my head!

Snow is so beautiful, but seriously i don't think i could live in it for months.

No snow here. In fact we've only had about 2 frosty mornings this entire autumn/winter. Its been very mild (almost too warm) but today a severe gale is blowing: storm force winds.

It's supposed to be finally turning cold next week and theres even talk of an outside chance of snow: we'll see. I'll be very surprised if it does.

I miss snow! Come to that, i miss frosts! We had one the other week: a nice white, crispy frost with a blue sky too! I'd almost forgotten what the sun looks like it's an almost permanent grey gloom here.

Here we are in Oz where its been 35 - 40 C for the last few weeks (25C at night at times) and you've got snow. Has only ever snowed here twice, lightly, that I can remember. We have to go to the mountains to see it.
Would be nice to have it now and again.

It can get hot here, although not as hot as Australia. The hottest day record is 38.5C here. But usually our tempatures in summer is about 8 degrees below that.

How cold is it in winter there Drewy? :)

38.5? hottest ever. We have a dozen or more days hotter than that each summer. Some around 45!

45 Degrees? I wouldnt be able to stand that. But your used to really hot tempatures, sometimes are summers barely reach above 32C.

I can't imagine something that hot. But it's humidity thats the trouble, I know people who live in Spain and it got much hotter than it got here but it's much more comfortable because they don't have the humidity.

That makes it more humid
