I don't know who the talented artist is that drew the latex Lara, but that artwork appeared on the cover of one of the gaming magazines quite a few years back.

A very brief Tomb Raider intro for me:
I've been playing TR since 1996 or 97. Ever since I downloaded the demo for City of Vilcabamaba, I've been hooked. It was really funny that I often died by being bitten to death by a stupid bat. :)
Ahhhhhh........ those were the days!

So, the years went on, and I played through the first three games with all of their bonus levels or Gold versions, and actually enjoying them less and less as time went on.
TR1 will always be the most special to me as nothing has come close to duplicating the actual atmosphere of the game and the actual tomb exploration.

Life got busy, and although I downloaded and played the demos of all TR games afterwords, I haven't been able to devote the hours and hours it takes to play the games. I did see the movies though, which can aptly be named stupid and stupider.

I was wholly absorbed by TR back in the '90s, checking the croft times several times a day, particiapating in forums that have since disappeared, creating artwork and submitting it the Temple of Lara (I think that's what its name was?), listening to Marcus Trogen's music, which I love and still have on my ipod and listen to all the time.

I've played around with texturing the original TR in GLIDOS and had fun with that for a few weeks.

Anyway, I've been around the block a few times with the TR series, and it was nice to stumble upon these active forums here. I don't know if I'll be able to be an overly active member, and I'll lurk more than I post, But I used to love making TR wallpapers, so maybe I'll churn out a few over the next few weeks.
