I think one of the mods should sticky this.

Step one: find the URL to the video you want to imbed, in this case I have chosen the trailer for the first Tomb Raider movie

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=VSLgxnMLg6U

Step two: remove everything from the = back

VSLgxnMLg6U this should be all that is left

Step three: add the youtube brackets on both sides of the VSLgxnMLg6U

like this [ youtube ] VSLgxnMLg6U [/ youtube ] but with no spaces, with spaces it should appear like this:

VSLgxnMLg6U

If you want to make sure it worked, do the Preview Post check if you see a still picture of your video clip with the play icon in the center, it worked.

Agent Dee, you should use Noparse tags.

For instance:

OvexQfVzmug

Just put [ noparse ] [ b ] vBulletin [ /b ] [ /noparse ] with no spaces.

It will come out like this:

vBulletin

what are you trying to do?

By using noparse codes, commands won't work - in other words, it nulls the command. It's just easier to read than using spaces.
