The guy who's writing:

Ive installed "Mpeg Layer-3 Codec v 1.263", but when I add a video file there's picture, but no sound! I get the following error message:

"Audio: Stream attributes could not be determined; Mpeg Layer-3"

Response:

You should have two of the exact same file, in one project! One for sound and one for picture!

I'm using K-Lite codec pack and VLC player (sometimes, media player classic is more convenient than VLC player). Works fine for me, the only thing I watch is anime and I have never had a problem with it. Here's the links if you want to try if it works. http://www.free-codecs.com/download/K_Lite_Codec_Pack.htm and http://www.videolan.org/vlc/

Sony Vegas is a video editing program, I can watch the videos in normal windows media player but cannot edit with sound in the program ;)
