HELP please......

I finally found the tr1 CD, so I downloaded the TR installer (which is quite helpful). I also downloaded the Gildos launcher, and the game starts whit no problem. I can hear and watch the FMV, and when the main menu appears, it's windowed (don't know why). Anyway, I tried several times to start the game, but when I select "new game" the window dissapears:( and I can't start the gildos launcher again unless I restart the PC......what could it be?

Read THIS (http://www.tombraiderhub.com/faq/tr1.html) carefully ;)
1. Install VDMSound and reboot the PC.
2. Then put TR CD in the lowest CD-ROM drive and install it using TR Advanced Installer. I recommend choose DgVoodoo instead of Glidos.
3. Then run TR via shortcut, NOT autorun menu ;)

mmm.....I tried to install choosing DgVoodoo and during the installation the follow message pop-ups: Error, could not extract resource named GILDE2X_140_OVL.........I just want to play:(

Ok ok.....I've fixed it, I guess the problem was on the video card. If you have this problem (or a hanging black screen after the FMV), or TR1 doesn't work and you have a g-force check this http://www.tombraiderforums.com/showthread.php?t=82495 thanks to Chug a bug, you save me (despite I don't have a nVidia 7900 but a gforce MX 4000)
