Egypt looks pretty cool.... It looks like the black lions are a little tougher but I like the design of the areas.
Am I close to the best level?

Good luck.
To me, the best level is a cross between St France's Folly and Atlantis, so your either past it or pretty close.

I've gained a much better respect for the game and love it.....
I'm going to attempt to go after TR's 2-atleast 4.

Forgive me for nit-picking! But they're panthers, not lions.
Feel free to smack me over the head now. :D
Hey, I just got to the same level. :) I figure I'm on the home stretch now, and then it's on to Tomb Raider 2!
It's funny that so many people are re-playing TR1 now :D
Nothing beats City Of Vilcabamba :p
That's the same as my opinion, I can't wait to see the pool area in AE to just... y'know... hang out, I'd be great if there was a cheat to make enemies your friends like AOD AR cheats, then treat lara as someone in the stone age :jmp:

There's a way to make enemies not attack you in AOD?
How do you do that?

Eh. Not a problem, you probably understand the series better than I do....

Cool! I got there yesterday too :) City of Khamoon offers a nice challenge and a scary moment with freaky screamy mummies. But Obelisk of Khamoon is way better, more challenging and longer. Sanctuary of the Scion has a great level design, even if it lacks aesthetical details. MY favorite levels are the ones you´ve just completed, the Greece levels.

The Mummies can be very irratating.... They're the only enemies I hated to face in this game but I like them since they are challenging but irratating at the same time.
I'm up to the Sanctuary of the Scion now...Love that level.

I'd always wanted to play the older TR games, but TR1 never worked properly on my XP machine... until I learned about the "TR Advanced Installer". :) And then I got TR2, TR3, and AoD on eBay this past summer for a couple of bucks each, so I figured it was time to work my way through all the TR games in order.
Taking it back to Level 10: City Of Khamoon, I got the record for that and beat MMAN's time. Yes, a mummified panther pushed me through a gate that I wasn't supposed to go through , but still............
