The cogs dont move..

Hey, I've just put all the cogs in place in the lost vally, and when i pull down the handle, the cogs i've put in place dont move and the others do, so the door doesnt open o_O

Any ideas to what could of happened??

Ehm, why old game? Yes it is, but it doesn't make any sense, the door DID open here, but the cogs I had to put in, didn't move, the rest did, pretty weird, maybe CORE just couldn't make that in that time?
