sth strange with a mutant

In the beginning of the level: Sanctuary of scion I noticed this:

I kill the first two mutants at the stairs and I make my way up to the back of the sphinx. If I climb up to the first ledge on the left, pic the goodies, I can see the ramp (which you cannot climb up), first time I did a jump up the ramp so I triggered the mutant at the back of the head. I turn and faced it but it didn't see me up on the ledge and it didn't throw fire at when I steped down, just attacking...:confused:

I always deal it that way in the beginning of the level not after two ankhs have been collected. Sidejumping makes a trick ;)
