Hi,who here thinks that the bear should of appeard more in the game?

yes, there were only two in the whole game and I really liked killing them, oh no there were three, I forgot the one in caves, I think it would only suit peru, a bear in atlantis, egypt or greece would be a little weird.

It would have been great to see the bear in the other TR games. But, there was no location for them, really. Well, America has the most bears, so maybe Nevada in TR3 wouldn't have been too bad. But I guess we have to wait for Anniversary now :(

even though it would be good to see the bear in TR3's graphics, the AE bears would definatly look better:

hmmm, the fact that there were only 3 bears in TR, kind amade them a bit 'special'. if there were more it would be like 'oh... a bear... again... *snore*

lol i alays found with the bears - that when they were dead - their eyes still seemed open!!! freaked the hell out of me, i ran for it! lol

never thought of it that way, yere, there could be a few in nevada in TR3 though.

No, I don't when I think about it. They were much harder than the wolves to beat. I was surprsied whenever one would jump out at me. I don't want to think, "Ooooh, another bear, who cares." That's exactly what would come to mind if there were more.

No probs. ;) There are TR1 wolves in TR2 Gold as well. They make Doberman noises.

I liked how exclusive the appearance of bears were. They always seemed to pop up when you least expected them as well. They were good as a challenging enemy in the first few levels, but as others have said, they would have looked out of place anywhere else. Bears in caves = good. Bears in pyramid = bad.
