I just bought Tomb Raider Collection today. It has TR1 to TR AOD all games with adons. I says all games are optimized for Win XP.
Does anyone has the same pack and is TR1 is ok for Win XP.
The following text is from MOBY GAMES Site:
"This compilation includes the first six games in the series stored on seven discs in three keep cases held together by a cardboard box. For the older versions, installers have been included to help configure graphics and sound. Next to the base games, gold versions and add-ons are thrown in as well, along with patches and PDF manuals."

You bought this (see picture below). It costs €10,- in my country.
About your question: when you put TR1 in the player, the Advanced Installer (made by Bokkie) pops up. The latest version is here: Sticky: TR1 Advanced Installer new release (http://www.tombraiderforums.com/showthread.php?t=84585)
Don't forget that you FIRST must install VDMSound 2.10 and reboot the PC, then follow all steps in the Advanced Installer, also described on our TR1 FAQ page (http://www.tombraiderhub.com/faq/tr1.html).

I bought it 12 Euros in Belgium.
I allready had all the games, but some in french and when I saw the games were made XP compatible and they are in english I bought it immediatelly..

Now I can load all them to my new PC and play all again...

Umm The Conqueror: they are NOT made XP-compatible on the CD's! They are the originals, so you'd have to use our XP-patches (or the XP/Vista multipatcher) to make them!
The Advanced Installer is only for TR1.

On the CD's it is writing thet from Windows 98/ME/2000/XP...:mad:
Anyway, they are in english and my old CD's has a lot of scratches, I had to renew them.....;)
No problem my friend, the site called ''Tomb Raider Cronicles'' is very helpfull..:)
At the site they have everything I need to play the games with clear explanations ...:p

Allmost everyday I'm at ''Tomb Raider Cronicles'', reading something... etc...;)
From there I joined this forum. :ton:
I have to tell it's a very well prepared site and I can find all the answers for my questions. And it is realy fun to be there and here...:)

The game was released on 14.06.2006 as Moby game site says.
Nice pack. I don't know anything about if the pack was released in North America...
The back of the cover is in Dutch..I think it was released in Netherlands....
But most of the games in NL is english and the documentation is in Dutch.
If you search with Google may be you can find it in a NL e-shop to order.
It's between 9-10 Euros over there.

The 'trick' probably is: re-release by Eidos of the older TR series made by Core Design. ;)

Re-release,huh???So basically since the games are so old now they have a very low price....
Now that I come to think of it TRIII was given away with a PC Magazine last year in Greece and AOD was a gift if you bought 2 body deodorants....

I checked for Play station too but there is not a pack for it....
Bad luck....
I think the PC gamers we are more lucky than the gamers on Play Station and XBox etc... because of some bundles like this..

LOL Joseph!!:p I went to a big games store and they said they know nothing about it!Maybe it hasn't came in Greece.I was asking whether it's sold in an online shop!

I bought the game in BE and the Back cover was in dutch but the game was in english...
In NL most of the games are in English but the documentations are in Dutch.

Does this version fix the problem in TR2 / TR3 where the FMV movies fail to play on newer cpu's, such as ones with hyperthreading or dual core?

I just upgraded the poocessor of my PC to Athlon 64X2 4600+ last night and I dawnloaded the driver from AMD...:D
TR II works fine ...no prob....:p
But, I dawnloaded and installed the XP-Vista patch from tombraidercronicles.com...;)
I havent set up and try TR I yet, the new tr installer it says it fixes the prob. with dual core cpu's...:)

I have the same problem. If the game was released in 2006, it really shouldn’t be that hard to find, but it is.

Yeah it's a great collection box, shame they didn't include the gold's and lost artifact. I bought it aswell even though I have all games already.
They did make a LOT of mistakes on the boxarts though.
It turns out that it is a Dutch company that released this box. Sold in the Benelux (Belgium/Netherlands/Luxemburg).
You guys should try to buy this via international eBay... Like i bought the Lethal and Loaded dvd from eBay/UK 2 years ago. You need a PayPal account for that, ok.
Kapitein Iglo: the Gold levels can be downloaded for free on tombraiderchronicles.com and played once you have these original CD's in the box.
