Former, because I no longer have the time to make levels, but well done to all who are interested in using editors :tmb:

Having said that, I have created a single one room floating high above an existing TR4 level 'Coastal ruins' to give you a few tips ;)

http://www.tombraiderforums.com/showthread.php?t=87143

The main thing is to create a level not just full of action, baddies and puzzles that would drive you nuts, but also one that shows interesting views and can be really creative with the use of flyby cameras and built-in camera angles.

Also try to make simple rooms interesting, as you can see in my example, I have put in a central open hole and transparent windows and handrails, plus some floor changes and objects.

For you experts, you will notice I made this the lazy way by increasing the height of the existing highest TR model room and raising the floor level to make the floating room, rather than make a new TR room linked to the room below.

Only downside by not creating a new TR room on top of the existing room, is that you cannot paint-in the underside of the floating room, by puting on a textured underside on the roof of the floor below.

Hope the photos are of interest, and lets see some interesting TR worlds, cheers chi.

I don't build no more, but I have a tip:
When I used to build level I used to lose interest and end up making a new project with a different idea.
This isn;t such a problem for some people. Its perseverance that can be hard, I find it hard to stick to it and not come up with new ideas and suggestions.
A good thing to avoid this is to keep your project completely spontaneous on terms of levels and plot. Keep it spontaneous and don't plan too much before you start, its good to have a faint image in your head of what your going for.

I'm off now, I'm late for my pensioner's pottery class:D
