Sorry, not one of Lara, but of current catnip of choice - Ronon Dex (Jason Momoa) from Stargate Atlantis. Sketched entirely in HB mechanical and 3B pencil.

Unfortunately, the scan isn't great... think my scanner is dying. And photobucket's compression for pics that are 'too big' is quite frankly crap (pixellated much, anyone?!). Bah.

You are an amazing artist, you probably already know that but I'm just stating my awe.

I've never seen anyone draw dreadlocks before, they would give me headaches :p

:hug: Thanks, guys! I so rarely get a chance to sit down and draw anything during term time I was afraid I was going to go a bit rusty, so it's nice to practice sometimes and keep m'hand in (and it's always nice to spend a couple of hours staring at something quite, quite lovely... :p). Can't wait for the summer holiday... 6 weeks of unadulterated drawing time. Oooooh yeeaaahhh baby! :D

That's quite some powerful shading!

The pic transmits a sensation of strenght and intensity...and those hateful dreadlocks ( yes,I do hate the thing) are absolutely realistic!
