Help with level 11

in level 11 the tomb of semerkhet....how do you get past the beetles to open the door in the room above????? if you put down the torch you die...when you get to a specific dooe that lights up...the beetles can kill you...help!!!

This is what you need to do, leave the torch behind for right now. Yes it does keep the beetles away kind of but not enough to make a difference, and it will only slow you down. Slide down the pole far enough that when Lara drops off she doesnt take long to stand back up. Now sprint for the first switch, once activated roll to turn around and sprint for the next hole and do the same, and the same with the third hole. The beetles will be chewing away at you the whole time so just feed yourself medi-packs as your sprinting from hole to hole using your hot keys which are 9 and 0 for the small and large medi-packs. Then when all switches are activated sprint back to the pole and get your bootie climbing!! Hope this helps!
