Firstly: While I'm posting, I thought I would mention this; Crystal Dynamics will not, I repeat, WILL NOT remodel the original house, reason being the design was based off Core's offices, and that pretty much speaks for itself.

Lara's Home[5] - PSW was the first source to confirm the appearance of Lara's Home in Tomb Raider: Anniversary. The magazine even states that it is "the biggest, most detailed mansion yet".

Now onto my MAIN point.

As an avid fan of Tomb Raider since the days of the very pixelated (and slightly less threatening now that I'm Eighteen Years old) T-Rex, I just have to say that after beginning to lurk on a lot of Tomb Raider forums shortly before the release of Legend, some of you really do seem like your main intention is to basically slander, insult and nitpick at anything Crystal Dynamics or Eidos give you as a treat prior to the release of Anniversary. They don't have to release screenshots, concept art, video's, anything; but they do to keep you all happy.

The game isn't even out yet, hell it's just barley getting into developers hands to play and iron out the last little bugs and everyone's already got to chip in a penny to complain about how much "this game is going to suck" and trivialize like children over the most minute of things, Would you all calm down?

Okay so it's all based on the Legend engine and there are some silly little things like Lara's backpack floating an inch over her shoulder, but unless you zoom in to a ridiculous point, you don't even see it, and sure fair enough, I'll agree that the wall running move does look a little jumpy when she gets into position, but in all honesty is this really things you are willing to complain about and risking looking ignorant in the eyes of the designers, programmers, testers and the company themselves? They have spent countless amounts of money, time, effort, thought and literally, I'm sure, a portion of their lives to create this game quick enough to get out to the general public just short of a year of Legend, to keep YOU GUYS happy, and what do they get?

Complaints about the fact that her hair does not float in water, Complaints that the Medipacks and Guns are the wrong way around in the menu from the original game, Complaints that a section of her boot is the wrong shade of brown, Complaints that her eyelashes look "fake", Complaints that they don't like the soundtrack in the game. Complaints about the lack of Blood, Complaints about "too many poles" from a single one minute video of a VERY small portion of ONE single level, Complaints that the model of Lara herself is looking less realistic (Seriously? Was that one a joke?) Complaints about her underwater life being dramatically cut (And yet people at the same time asking for a harder more challenging game).

I think it's time everyone whom has something to complain about took a step back and just hushed down a bit, I understand you're all paying for the game, and that you deserve a right and say; but half of the stuff I'm logging on to read in the morning now is getting ridiculous, you should be thankful they're giving you a game this soon, in-fact, you should be thankful they attempted to revive a franchise that was almost murdered completely after AO-D. How about showing the company some respect? Some gratitude, show them that as avid fans you are willing to miss tiny stupid silly things, before most of you have even touched the games disc furthermore. Show them that as fans you are dedicated to enjoying the experience of playing the game as much as they have putting a years worth of extremely hard work to give you, because thats what they want to do, satisfy you, and I'm sure it must be tiresome for them to come on and have everything they've put effort into belittled by people inslting their work, frequently.

Okay, I think we've seen enough complaints lately. Complaints about Crystal, complaints about Core, complaints about complainers, complaints about people who complain about complainers.

I think it's enough. Feel free to post your opinion about actual topics instead of other members.

Closed.
