I've used flipeffects many times before. And now I'm gonna change the fog color for my fogbulp. I've done this before and it have allways worked perfect. But this time it just crashes when I step on the trigger. So can someone explain how to put a trigger. I use the value 21 to give the fog a green color. I put 21 in the timer field. Is that the right place?

It must be a Flipeffect Trigger 28, Timer 21 (Or any other number).
Then it should work. :)

I didn't feel the need to make a new thread, and since this is about fogbulbs, can anyone tell me how to get them visible in game? I don't know where the set up menu is that the manual talks about.

You have to trigger them like, an enemy.
Just as I said place a Flipeffect Trigger 28, Timer is the colour.

Here is a list.

I understand that, but in the manual it says to enable Volumetric FX or something like that, I don't know where to enable it.

In the Setup.
Have you got a "tomb4setup.exe" in your folder?
If no, do this.
Create a shortcut from "tomb4.exe" in the same folder.
Then edit this shortcut (Pic).

Unfortunately, that did not work :( It asked me to create a correct file directory or something like that, would the Setup still work if someone would send me the file?

Just open the setup file that is in your trle root folder ;)

I don't have the Setup file, I must have deleted it by accident...

Ah, I managed to get it to work using strangers method (I needed an extra space in front of the -). The fog looks great after I modified it a bit, but for some reason where ever I turn you can see parts of the fog in every room, it makes the waterfalls white and all sorts of things happen...

In other words, this happens-

Fog often doesn't work well in combination with tranparant or shiny objects. ;)
It seems to depend on the type of graphicscard though.

I have the same thing happening in my HM levels in which I have used the distant fog feature. It also causes transparant and shiny objects to look like they do on your screenshot when viewed from a distance. :(

It can't be fixed, as far as I know...

you need to run
tomb4.exe -setup

this will run the setup. It should have a link on the start menu for trle.

Actually, when I enabled draw distance to "very far" on Trep it got rid of it, but it made the ground shiny and such, I guess Ill have to live with it.

Yes, that helps. :D
Too bad the ground becomes shiny then. :(
