The easiest and most ammo efficient way to kill them would be to draw your pistols, line up ( in other words face them face to face, do not shoot them from their side or back ) with the knight and start shooting against him while continiously hoping backwards ( hoping means holding the back button NOT Back+jump ) to avoid being hit. Should the knight get to close jump forward and perform a "middair roll" ( forward+jump, then roll ) and repeat the same strategy. You can tell a knight is hit if they make an "agh" sound. Also DO NOT use explosives as they DO NOT seem to deal any damage on them. Don't try using the revolver with the lasersight to aim for their diamond as you will often miss. Also avoid using the shotgun as it usually misses too. You can however use the uzis or the revolver and the same strategy I suggested above with the pistols but this is a waste of ammo, they are so easy to kill if you follow the above strategy even with pistols.

Thanks, I'll try this right now :)

Just let them come to you and shoot them while they're facing you. :p It takes a lot of shots, but they're still very easy to kill.

If you're talking about the Lost Library's brass-men then I suggest using a shotgun, if you're lucky one shell will do the trick.

The horseman however... :hea: :hea: :hea:

But glitching is no fun. :(
(Though I admit I killed the horseman by shooting an explosive arrow into his alcove, so he never got on his horse).

Try turning to the side slightly while shooting with the pistols, then turn back so Lara's shots alternate, it seems to be more accurate (or faster) than shots that are in sync.

Alternatively, equip pistols, turn on manual aim, face enemy, and hammer away.

The horseman is a lot harder, you can do it by getting close and staying to one side (his axe side is far more vulnerable), and you should be able to damage him (pistols again), although you'll probably need to take a few risks (Jeffareid's video shows how to do this).

Oh, that works too? The Tomb Raiders Traveler's Guide suggests a grenade to keep him off his horse.

Oops, I'm referrring to the use of explosive arrows , see post #10

Oh, that works too? The Tomb Raiders Traveler's Guide suggests a grenade to keep him off his horse. You have to toss in a grenade just before triggering the horseman. I made two videos, the easy way with the grenade and the hard way with pistols.

Pre shoot grenade and shotgun:

Pistols only:
