Remember having a thread like this ages ago..

It's still the same as before: sleep walking to school in my pajamas instead of getting the newspaper from the mailbox :whi: Thank god my Dad shouted at me and woke me up.. It was mid winter :D

hmmm

i was 6 years old....at a family gathering

i was carrying a tray of soft drinks and i tripped, the adults laughed and found it funny.

i however did not  i haven't liked or been to a family gathering since.............and i'm 30 this year, that incident scarred me to such a point i even refused to go to my sisters wedding a few years ago (she's 2 years younger than me btw )

so there you go,that qualifies as my embarrassing moment...damned relatives

i don't like crowds

Me dancing in front of my school and me not knowing how to do dance.:o
That's the worst moment I had back in Third grade.

In 8th grade, we had a graduation dance. I was avoiding dancing, but I was haveing a great time anyways with my friends. Then my science teacher grabbed me and pulled me out onto the dance floor. someone took a picture of that and stuck it in the yearbook. I will be forever humilated by that.

No, this forum, and therefore the entire internet and therefore the entire world won't tell anyone. :ton: :D

On several occasions I've gone to school in school uniform on a non-uniform day, but that's happened so many times it's not embarrassing anymore. :ton: There's always one, and it's always me. :D More embarrassing was the time I went to school in non-uniform on a regular uniform day. :cln: I got the wrong day — it was next week! :vlol:

Various misspellings which have resulted in very rude words being written.

Going to lob a ball, stacking it in the process and lobbing the ball straight at the wall. From that day onwards, I have refused to put in any effort into throwing stuff.

Nearly walking out of M&S with pot-pourri. My mum shoved them in a basket and had to leave, and I forgot I had the basket :o . Security guard was kinda confused of a 14 year old coming within an inch of shop lifting some pot-pourri

My most embarrassing things that I havent erased from my memory are all from uni...

Whenever I arrived late to a lecture and everyone turns to look coz the doors to the lecture hall squeak really loudly.

Most embarrassing was probably when I got a new phone and I didn't know how to put it on silent and someone rang me and then I got a text message to say I had a missed call and then it beeped yet again when I turned it off!
The lecturer really was not happy!:o

Bit of a change from chavs nicking the empty cases from the computer game department. :vlol:

I tend to avoid embarrassment fairly well, somehow... either that or I just don't get embarrassed easily. :o

Mine goes back over 30 years to when I was 11 years old. I had just won a bicycle (A gorgeous green Schwinn Stingray) at a Boys Club carnival raffle and when I was brought to the microphone to accept the prize, the man said to me "So you won the big prize kid, how do you like those apples?" My reply in front of hundreds was "What apples, I didn't get any apples?" I can still hear the laughter ringing in my ears. :(

I saw someone do that once. The security guard let the obnoxious kid steal the empty case, just so he could see the look on the kids face when he realised.

Collecting my coursework after school, went up to Textiles where she was having a Year9 GCSE meeting, went in, called her "Mam":D .

Thats the most embarrassing I can think of ATM.:)

OMG I remember one, we had just started a Gymnastics course, so I was like, this should be fun, we got the crashmats out and started flexing and stretching until my tracksuit pants split down the inside of the leg. I laughed but I stopped after a while but people were still laughing so I forced a laugh until I got bored and went to see the teacher

I hate it when I get awards in end of term assembly's. I'm not bothered with the standing up in front of people deal, I just look at my shoes. It's actually having to squeeze along the rows to the staircase tripping over Jane Norman bags and constantly apologizing for hitting my ass in people faces.

Ouch that sounds embarassing :o

Second most embarassing thing for me would be that I completely froze during a school play that was in french. I forgot what I was supposed to say. The whole theatre was quiet for a minute and my teacher, my friend and everyone else were trying to whisper me the words.. finally I just said excuse moí and everyone laughed.. =/

I remember when I was in about 6th grade, my homeroom teacher took us to the computer lab for a free day and I was on the internet searching up some pictures of Final Fantasy when there was a pop up about meeting free singles. The teacher looked and asked what I was looking at. My face was incredibly red and kids said I was looking at porn.

The next one happened last weekend. I was at Wal Mart with my friends Heather and Alanaa and we were goofing off and we were near the bicycles looking at something. There was an elderly woman on her scooter and I didn't see her. I was walking past the aisle and she honked this horn. I jumped back and screamed. She looked at me as if I was an idiot. I ran away laughing.

Okay, guys reading this, I know this is kinda disgusting, but...

CAUTION: (GUYS, BE WARNED)

I was going in the girls washroom, and I desperatly needed a pad... So I put the quater in the machine and turned the key-thingy. I rattled it as hard as I could, but it was empty! So I was so mad at it, I started hitting it. Then, Katie Cotter, Lauren Kammer, Cedar Buckingham and Desiree Gallant - the most popular girls in our school - came in and stared at me. They asked me what I was doing. I just walked out there so fast! I was so embarrasing, though! This just happened today! This definetly tops tripping in front of my ex...

One time i was outside and i was getting my bike out so i can ride it and i was having trouble getting the door open and keeping my bike up so a kid from next door saw me struggling and help well when the bike got outside it fell kind of on me and the handle bars got stuck to my pants and made my pants fall and i pulled them up as fast as i could and i'm really not sure if he saw what happened but it really embarassed me. :o

Also one time in grade school you know when kids take the chairs out from behind you when your going to sit down well one day i was going to sit down and when i used to sit i would sit pretty hard on the chair and when i went to sit i fell right on the floor and hurt my bum really bad that i started to cry in front of the whole class which was very embarassing. :o

The shop lifting one brings back memories of one of my holidays in France. We always go with our neighbours, as we are great friends, and we always go self service, where we have to cook our own food etc. One year, we had to go to the supermarket to buy the food, and Vicky, (our neighbours daughter) was given some Pringles to hold. We were then told to get a trolley, and we saw one, outside of the shop. Now, the supermarket was in a kind of shopping centre and we thought it would be fine to nip out and get the trolley. To our horror, a security guard came over and started talking in rapid French and we hadn't a clue what he was saying. Then it dawned on us- Vicky had ran out of the shop[ carrying 4 tubes of Pringles and this guy thought we were stealing them. To make matters worse, Vicky then screamed really loudly and ran back into the shop, leaving me to apologise.

Eh...I remember one awful embarrassing moment where I was in a video gaming store and I bought a few games and on my way out I dropped my money, picked them up from the floor and what does the Myra forget about? The glass door that's infront of her face!...And...Well I wasnt really paying attention to where I was going when I picked my money up xDDD I slammed my face on the glass door and went out quickly. I kinda heard some people laughing behind my back x_X lol

When I was in school, I was in an assembly and I miss heard the name called out and stood up and everyone laughed. I laughed but it was a nervous laugh. The whole year didn't stop about it for a week. Not that long but it feels slow when its no fun. Lol. :o
