I've been listening to the song...which I just adore. :)
But I can't figure out the lyrics...fully.
I'm not sure what to vocals sing...?
Is it "Amenus Dei" or " Aminus Dei" or "Agnus Dei"?
:D I'm not very good with latin and my mother is curious too...
does anyone know?
Edit:Oh..and..Happy Easter. =D

No idea!! but i can try and find out for you ....
"Angus Dei", lamb of God. It's a 100% christian concept, so it bugs the heck out of me to hear it in a Peruvian context. I guess it's a standard sound on Troels's synthesizer :ton:

It's the one that's on the official anniversary web site and you can hear it on several gameplay movies and in the second trailer...

I think this song should put at the Greece level, like in the Palace Midas, and Cistern. Do you all agree?
There is also this song is similiar to the song that play in the original tomb raider Tomb of Tihocan.

I do. It's nice, but not Peruvian. I'd like pan pipes or something for peru.

"Agnus" there.
Same applies to Nepal music in Legend - the first piece playing has Gaelic lyrics, for crying out loud. I can't stand that common among Western game composers approach according to which everything is fine as long as it sounds "exotic". Quite arrogant, in fact.

Why it is so weird to put christian texts in the music maybe it refers to the guide which was killed by the wolves or maybe the christian text was put in the music beacuse it sounds great :p .

Because those were the lyrics used in the main theme, and a "theme" is generally used throughout a film or game...

I'm pretty sure the Plane Wreck theme isn't another main theme variation. It wouldn't be a problem for me if the Gaelic folk song appeared in story-related pieces - cutscenes and the like - but as a location theme for Nepal it just sounds off. Knowing this I just can't find this song as immersing as it could've been if it had stayed true to the location.
Besides, I personally have always got the feeling that recurring themes in films or games were usually restricted to the melody. Notice that's not the case here.

Have to agree with you there -- I have no idea what Troels was playing at with the legend score -- utterly inappropriate.
