New Adventure Inspired by One of the Classic All Time Games Set for Release June 5th, 2007
REDWOOD CITY, Calif., April 24 /PRNewswire/ -- Eidos Interactive Ltd., one of the world's leading publishers and developers of entertainment software, today confirms that Lara Croft Tomb Raider: Anniversary will be on store shelves throughout North America from June 5th, 2007 for the PlayStation(R)2 computer entertainment system and Windows PC.
As one of the most successful games of all time, selling over seven million copies worldwide, the original Tomb Raider was widely credited for revolutionizing adventure gaming. Lara Croft Tomb Raider: Anniversary offers players a brand new adventure, inspired by Lara's original adventure.

There really isn't fun to be sarcastic like that! Anyway though it isn't official many say it will be out in Europe 25th of May. So there isn't that many days between 25th May and 5th Juni though! :)

Cool, at least now we have an official release date. Its not too bad. Like I said before, the summertime is a great time to sit and play a game all day. Drinking lemonade, relaxing, and playing a new video game is the best way to do it! Or for others who like to drink wine to relax thats cool too!:D :jmp:

Thanks for the info, I've been wondering when the official release date will be although I do wish it was earlier. I can't wait. My schoolyear ends May 7th so that means last half day of school will be full of TRA!

Nice :) I kind of believed Gamestop's date (June 6) but it's good to have it officially confirmed. If the UK version comes out earlier, I think I'll take a vacation from the forum until I've played it myself :p

*sigh* as usual - the PSP release date would always be behind..I hope it doesn't keep getting pushed back like last year - the max was 2 months and 15 days for Legend for its PSP release date.

It's about time we got a release date, although I'm not happy that we here in the USA don't get the game released the same time as the UK.

well at least ur gettin it like a week later.
when it comes to us games to uk we wait from 6 months to a year or more for it look at shadow hearts from the new world almost 2 years since the relase in japan and i think 1 yr and a half from us
