can someone tell what format TRA is coming out on i have a 360 & a ps3. i know its not a ps3 game but will it play on it? there have been issues with ps2 games on the ps3

I think ps2 games will definately work on ps3..
and anniversary is going to be released on ps2, psp and pc

TRA will only be released on PS2, PSP and PC, so no Xbox or 360 version

Well, TRA is to show how far Lara has got, so no Next-Gen. It's all current gen. But it will be jumping back up to next-gen for TR8.

Anyways, I'm almost certain that Anniversary will run on PS3 although there have been issues with some games on European PS3s.

Sony has a website (I can't remember the link, unfortunately) which lists PS1 and PS2 games and explains what compatibility issues they may have on PS3.

They are concentrating on Tomb Raider 8, which will be PS3, XBox 360 and PC, the Anniversary game was most likely done because they want to refer to events from it in future games, and to keep us occupied till the Legend continuation comes out. All those new fans need to be brought up to speed on the game that started it all, and they had the Legend engine just sitting there, its not like we have not wanted a remake.

The PS2 and the Xbox have been pretty much discontinued (I used to work for a major Electronics chain. Parts for the old systems are rare, and we have boxes full of PS3, Wii, and 360 addons).
