Looking for weapons

Hi Jenna! I'm back to playing TRIII since I cheated last time and figured what the heck. Which brings me to the reason why I cheated in the first place: where oh where are all the cool weapons stashed in this game? I looked high and low but so far have only found the shotgun and grenade launcher. I'm collecting ammo up the wazzoo, but what good are they without the guns?

Hi Lizzie......Ok so you have the shotgun and the grenade launcher, now you need to find the desert eagle which is in the Nevada Desert-High secuity compound level. Next is the MP5 which you can also find in the Nevada desert this time in the Area 51 level. Then you need to find the Rocket launcher, which you can find in the South Pacific -Mudubu Gorge level. Many of the weapons can be found at several sites, depending on the order you tackle the middle 3 zones and how successful you are at locating them) Here is where I have found the various weapons:

Shotgun: Jungle, 1st Secret Location; also available, I've heard (if you miss it there) Temple Ruins - antechamber with the Shiva statue that stays inanimate & where you move the block to access the main chamber; Area 51, just after the raised crawl space with the large medipack (difficult to see because of the angle that the cam tends to take) or if you miss it there, (so I've heard) in the high tunnel from where you leap to the top of the monorail train.

Desert Eagle: High Security Compound, in the side room over the crates that you find after 2nd stage of the 2-stage tunnel swim started when you go down the shaft at the bottom of the pool under the satellite dish)

Uzis: Nevada Desert, 3rd Secret Location; Alwych, the big red room from where you do the monkey swing to drill room - jump to the small platform all on its own on the side wall and from there run/jump to a hard-to-see platform where the Uzis can be found. Be warned, it's a tricky jump with a fatal drop if Lara fails to make it.

Harpoon Gun: Coastal Village, at the bottom of the cavern lake that's on the Smuggler's Key hut route. NB kill the crocs before you jump in, and there are also 3 caches of harpoons at various points on the lake bed.

MP5: Area 51, right at the beginning of the level (you have to kill the guard quickly, before he can activate the laser beams that render the weapon inaccessible); Aldwych (so I've heard), 1st Secret Location (after surviving the drill room puzzle)

Rocket Launcher: Madubu Gorge, entrance to the tunnel reached by run/jump from the platform where Lara completes the monkey-swing past the two fire-breathing statues.

Grenade Launcher: Caves of Kaliya, the Boss's cavern; High Security Compound, 2nd Secret Location.

If anybody knows any other locations, I'd be interested to know

You can just use the cheats.

For all weapons:

Draw Pistols
Take one step back
one step forward
duck and stand
turn round three times
and the jump backwards and you should have all of the guns as well as lots and lots of ammo
