Hello everybody,

I just released a new tool for Mac OS X, called TR Poser. It's a program where you can pose objects from TR1-4 in levels from the same games, mainly (but not only) for creating comics. I posted this here, too, because it might have some use for level editors on Mac OS X (if there are any…) as a general level and object viewing tool.

For the announcment and donwload links, see: http://www.tombraiderforums.com/showthread.php?p=1825592

It should support any custom level, but I don't give any guarantee, especially when the level is made for a patched engine or with an unofficial editor. Just try it out, the worst that can happen is that it crashes.

There is also the full source code available under GPL, so if you look for an example how to write your own TR level reading program, you have one more source (in addition, I recommend you look at OpenRaider (http://openraider.sourceforge.net), vt (http://icculus.org/projects/vt/) and TRViewer (the site it was on is down, apparently)). The code isn't as pretty as I would like it to be, especially in the higher layers, but I still believe it might be helpful to someone.

In the future, I plan to make a full level editor for Mac OS X, but don't hold your breath for it. It took me more than a year to get this little program working already.
