I really hated that stupid skateboard kid, will he be returning in TRA??? :confused: He was the most out of placed person in the whole of TR :mad:

He best be, as random as he was, he was in the original and therefore should be in Anniversary.
I'm not too sure. I think he is. But I can't confirm this.
I liked him, he made me want to kill him. A perfect trait for baddies. :D

He was too random for my liking. I always thought, 'Jeez, it took me sooo much work to get to this point without dying and I am a tomb raider ... how come this stupid sk8board kid is as good as me?!!'
I shan't care whether he is in it or not.

He is one of the memorable characters from the Tomb Raider series. I thought he was an easy fight but hopefully if he is in TRA he'll be harder. I remember his line but he sounded older than he looked. I wanted to take that skateboard from underneath his feet and just beat him senseless with it. Hopefully he is back!

Cowboy goon better be in it, as well as Baldy. Which one is Kold, is he Cowboy or Baldy? It looks like one of these guys won't be in Anniversary. :mad:

Skateboard Kid has gotta be in Anniversary! He may be out of place, but he's one of those classic characters you just can't leave out! :D

You can't get rid of him now, He's classic.
Anyway, I know some of the more 'level-headed' gamers are thinking that its silly, and their not too far wrong. But alteast its original. Consider the oppsoite for a just a second, they would probably just replace him with a random boring merc/soldier type in the name of "realism" shudders . Thats been done in nearly every game nowdays and I wish it would stop. It would hardly be memorable now, would it?
The main reason why I like Natla's Mines so much is because of all those goons, and the fact that I get to kill them. I love the FMV where Lara dives into the water at the bottom of a canyon, and then the skater kid fires at her with uzis. I didn't expect that at all, so it made the character stick with me. I hope he isn't changed too much in Anniversary.

I used to hate him, but now I feel the opposite. He's so great because he's so random! You never see it coming, the first you play! :p
Lets hope he's gonna get more essential and more meaningful part in the story of TRA than TR1.:rolleyes:

I'm 99.9% sure he's in TRA.
Although I'm not sure if we get to fight him, or he actually rides a skateboard. The worst case scenario is that he and Kold both die at the same time in the cutscene they appear in, and we come across their dead bodies...but let's hope that doesn't happen!

Hopefully they both appear in more than one cut-scene, (along with Cowboy, my favourite gooner).
Apparrently one cut-scene is labelled Kid and Kold, but they can appear in others too. Please give all three goons a bigger part to play in TRA. PLEASE!
Also, please let Cowboy be the main goon of the three, and make him die last. He has the best of the three special guns, (the magnums), so it is only right that he should be the best goon, otherwise the other two wouldn't let him keep the best gun type.
By the way, which weapon was actually the best in TR1? Is it the Uzi's, (I think they were the best even though I prefer the magnums).
Lastly, why did the goonies have to keep Lara's guns? Didn't they have guns of their own? Maybe Lara's are better...

Hey! It was a VERY cool line. Plus Cowboy dude strikes me as being the smartest, more 'normal' of the goonies. He is probably embarrassed to be seen around with Kid and Kold and secretly has a crush on Natla, as he doesn't realise that she is a weird, alien thing.

Being around many lava pits and while being shot by the Magnums makes him cool, but itīs more because of the layout of the level than the proper character. To sum up, the three characters are pretty empty to me, itīs the level that tries to make them something special, even if they arenīt.

I think that if Crystal took the cowboy out then they thought that maybe he was too similiar to Larson. In TR1 they had a similiar persona.

Yeah, your right about them not being that special in TR1, but I'm hoping that TRA fleshes out their, and everyone elses, character, (yes, you too Guide, even if you do die after two seconds).

Lol :D The role of the guide is almost the same, but he says some funny things in Spanish now :p I hope, as you do, that if theyīre included they get a bit more of role.
I'd really love an unarmed, hand2hand combat against the Cowboy and/or against the Kid.

I dont think you could get away with Lara killing a kid nowadays, it would be deemed unethical and the game rating would be like R. They probably wont have him dying or even a fight with him, maybe he'll just be in a cutscene for nostalgia. It's either that or they'll make him older, but it'd be lame for an old guy to be using a skateboard or wearing a baseball cap.

the skateboarder kid.....one of many moments in TR1 that made me go "what the crap??". I'm sure he'll be in the game, but idk if we'll fight him, as thing of dust said.
He'll probably be updated from the 80s-90s 'skater' to umm... what I think those of you in the UK call a 'chav'.

I really do like kid and kold. They were essential to the story since they kept Lara's guns, but who's going to steal Lara's magnums?
Otherwise I expect a significant change in both of them starting with
kid:
-Probably a skinny 18 year old wearing casual skater attire from the 90's, and sporting a mohawk(sp?). Saying skater slang, and his use is probably a scout for Natla, As he is agile from the rest and rides risky ramps for the fun of it.
And Kold:
-Theres too many bald people in TRA now so i wouldn't be surprised if Kold had hair since pierre stole his hairstyle. Like a crewcut hair cut, something short but professional.
And Maybe wearing sunglasses, boots, and long black trench coat hiding his shotgun and pistols. I find him the kind of hitman type, the one who does the dirty work.
Now kid and a kold boss fight would be pretty tough considering the disadvantages. Kid riding around the area shooting up the place with the uzis, and kold running toward lara with the shotgun.
I'm expecting a action pack IC in the beggining and ending of the fight just like the T rex

I never liked the skater kid but I want him to be there. I remembered when I saw him for the first time, skating in Natla's Mines, I went WTF! There's a skating park inside Natla's Mines? :D
He's back. Like HC has written he's listed in the voices, and a french article talked about him briefly. ;)
