So whats the deal with Flares ?

then i heard from a quote in a thread around here that the person rateing it said they needed flares or somthing =\

So.. are they in the game ? o.o

i think the person meant it was so dark that they wished they had flares.

There were no flares in TR1 so they didn't include the flares in TRA.

There has been a mention of a torch
but that may only be for the Wii edition

Id like flares to make a return, and she should hold them, like in the classics and not fling them like In the Trl flashback

Confirmed loooong ago that there is NO light source at all.. And the only complaint so far WAS some parts were too dark, but adds to the feel of the game so it don't draw you away from play. Just adds to it..

I think the guy said there SHOULD be flares cause the game is so dark. I'm not sure if we actually pic some on the game. Would be cool though.

Well then maybe you should stick to Legend. :jmp: TRA is gonna have MANY dark places in the caves so grip the paddle tightly :tea:

If it's too dark just turn the brightness up on the game, but I would still like flares to return in the next tr.

I hate flares, so I'm glad they're gone. I would mind the PLS though... :(

The game looks dark and scary and I think having the flares would take a way the suspense of the tombs a way. Although I wouldnt mind having red flares like from TRL, which would be cool cuz what if Lara lights a red flare and there's a mummy next to her, she turns, and then the mummy groans and screams! That would be terrifying and cool!:jmp:

I was wondereing tha the other day becuase in the caves there are some dark places and i tohugh well theres no flares or PLS :mad:

Then i realised there probally wont be one for Anniversary Lol :D

Its a shame there are no flares. I know they weren't in the original, but they really added to the overall atmosphere in the later classics...

And i'm worried that the AE will be too light in places... :(

I got the impression there won't be flares in the game, since everything we saw was quite brightly lit and all.
