What is this all about? (intro from Elen) (For the newcomers)

Many members of this forum (and why not you?) create beautiful outfits for our Anniversary Lara. To create an outfit, you need a small program. You can choose either TexMod or Tomb Ripper. With these programs, you don’t change only the outfit, but also Lara’s hair, eyes, skin, gear etc. You can also modify the complete levels textures, both background and foreground (thanks Chi for reminding me). The members can then download your work and use it whilst playing Tomb Raider Anniversary.

The tutorials explain how you can create an outfit (for the builders) and how you can use them in the game (for the players).

NOTE: I just want to remind you that all outfits you post here and the ones you send me must agree with the following: They will not show anything more than what the original outfits show. For example, a bikini outfit must not show anything more than what the original bikini outfit show. Images that violate this rule will be removed without warning. Also, if you want to include a legend on the outfit (a message or something), make sure it is appropriate. Thank you.

tampi, those are amazing. I could only imagine how much outifts people will be coming up with when the game comes out. Natla mod, Bacon Lara mod, maybe Pierre and Larson mod. Endless! I'm looking forward to your works, modders! :tmb:

on texmod click the first tab, then click the folder icon on the top to browse your files for the game (tra demo.)
after choosing it go down and click the small folder icon to browse files to use (tpf) find the tpf one and choose it :D

You can't. It's a one-way process only (dds to tpf). :(

It says that at the bottom before you save. Did you actually save the file?
Did you go to Package Mode and select it to be ran with the application?

I got the textures, put them in Paint Shop as JPG, put some Maroon on them, saved as JPG. Then did the rest of it.

I never tried saving in jpg. I Doubt that's the problem, but you could try saving into bmp.

Got it working! Now, how do you cut parts of her top off to reveal her stomach? Just get the clone brush and colour parts of it to look like her skin?
