I bought this game 3 days ago for the PC at my local "game" (UK Game shop) Why am I now seeing trailers on TV saying it comes out 1st June? Was my local store not ment to put it on the shelfs?

I got an e-mail 3 hours ago from my local game store, about that they deliver TRA to me today. So I will probably have it either on wednesday or thursday.

Been playing it a couple of days now. Looks good, smoother running then Legend but same awkward controls on the PC... ( why cant "she" just continue to run Forward when pressing Forward even if cam angle changes???).
All in all im pleased with TRA so far :D
For those of you unpatient ones. Beat it out of the store owners..:tea:
I should get it either Thursday or Friday.
Would treck down to my local games store but that requires effort.

I went into my local Game today. The boxes were on the shelf but had stickers on saying June 1st pre-order. :(

He/she got it early because for some reason it was in store bieng held back (:confused:) so this suggests to me that they weren't meant to put it up on the shelves.

Probably, yes. They would probably sell you it anyway even if it wasn't on display. I'm sure if you asked they would sell you it. I remember doing it with GTA: San Andreas. He openly said he wasn't supposed to be selling it me early but did anyway.
I must ring them when I get home!
It's definately worth a shot.
My Step Dad works at WHSmith so he miht be able to get me one ! Only if its out but I doubt it. I'll check in Game tomorrow.

My GAME didn't have it today. They didn't even know how much the Collector's Edition will cost - they guessed £34.99. The website has it at £29.99, so I'll preorder it there.

OMG, I didn't believe this but I went down to my local GAME store and there it was! I ended up buying it on PC even though I'm a ps2 player but I'm just about to install so you wont see me for a couple of days guys ;)!

Well my uncles credit card was charged yesterday, and he got an email from them saying it's been sent. Whatever will happen I don't know but my guess is we will be getting it earlier than Friday. :D. Btw he paid the exra 5 quid postage thingy so maybe just maybe I will (hopefully) get it tommorow :D Oh and I ordered the collectors edition for the PS2

This is interesting to me b/c whenever I go to the TRA official website, it still says May 2007 and when I go to the UK site it says June 2007. If people in Canada and other locations in North America are getting the game now, then maybe some area in America are gonna get the game on May 29. I dont know. Im still concerned about getting the CE on the 5th

Oddly, the second disc of the 2 disc version actually has a soundtrack section.

Yer true! So I actually just ordered TRA GAMEexclusive CE 4 PC from GAME in UK for $50US, out on 1st of June accoridn' 2 their site, 'n I tink it's a 3 DVD's set, i hope it is nywa...

yeh plus game etc will sell a poster with the game aswell on the release whereas most shops who are selling it early wont have the posters etc with it.
