The neck has still some glitches but overall I think it´s alright.
Also made the "wet clothes" texture invisible because it looked crappy after she went swimming.

60. First off, jvjv, I totally <3 you for doing such a lovely job fixing Lara's face...only now I'm spoiled and want a version for Legend as well (maybe with a touch of black eyeliner, as I think the original did as well). :P

Oh, and while we're at it...would one of you sezzy modding machines be able to attach jvjv's face to the other Anniversary costumes? (specifically Camouflage, Sport, and Catsuit, as the others are either weird or already covered because they show up naturally in-game)

62. Hey gang. I finally finished my first skin! I've never done this sort of thing before, and it was an awesome learning experience. I hope I can do some more skins in the future as well. I could have nitpicked at the skin until my eyes bled, but seeing how it's my first skin, I didn't want to kill myself over it. There's so many things I wanted to change, but I didn't want to get into all that quite yet. So I'm going to release it as-is. :D

The skin uses the default Anniversary model, so there shouldn't be any problems. If there is, then let me know and I'll fix it ASAP.

You should be able to access it in any file format, but for it to work you have to save the changed invisible textures as .dds files (Photoshop DDS Plug-in (http://www.nvidia.com/object/photoshop_dds_plugins.html)). Of course, don't forget to also edit your outfit's Texmod .log file when you save a texture in a different format. What kind of program do you use? If it's Photoshop, select Windows > Channels or click on the 'channels' option in the layers window.

Hi, new here. Just been playing with the TexMod doodah, came up with a couple you might wanna try.

100.I don't know if many people will remember waaayyy back when everyone was waiting for Tomb Raider 2, and some of the very first footage of it showed her on a level called "Titanic" in a very different wet suit than the final game had. I have an old demo disc for the PS1 that has Lara in this outfit in it's demo. I don't know if anyone else has tried it yet, but I thought I would give a shot at creating it in Anniversary.

Here is the original version that core did in TR2 before it was changed to the blue and white one we know and love in the middle, then two shots of my version on the sides.

Hi friends and fellow Modders,

I have a couple of new ones for you to sample today...

The first is a Star Wars Stormtrooper inspired outfit for Lara. Obviously I couldn't make the mask (shame) because of the original head mesh:(

I also modded the Great Pyramid level very subtlety so that only parts of the main structure now contain a more sc-fi element. It looked pretty alien anyway but now most of the rock has gone and has been replaced with metal panels. The place was based on the Pyramid from the Aliens V Predator movie which was very similar in its appearance. I am still working on the Pyramid which is why some of the wall textures don't blend very well (especially over the old rock textures) but I thought I would give you guys a first look. Let me know what you think?

104.Hi all,

I watched the Terminator again the other day quickly followed by Star Trek. Both of these must have been spinning through my head as when I came to design my next Mod this sort of materialised....it's like a Borg/Cyber type skin. There is a HECK of a lot of detail on this skin and it has taken a little while to get it looking correct.

The upgrade will give her top a better style of tartan, will remove her cloves, backpack, gear and grappling hook (although you will still be able to use it).

Once I found out that it didn't alter any files, I wasn't weary of using a new skin. The ones for Legend on the Hub don't seem to work. I used them, but none of the outfits were changed. That's a shame.

I went ahead and made one I'd like. It's similar in concept to Bantam's grape jelly. I too like purple. And dark eye makeup ;) Here's a promo pic

It makes the same changes to both the Anniversary and Legend outfits, so there's no need to switch skins. There are basically two versions - one with all black clothes and one with the original clothes. Both of these have two sub-versions: black sunglasses and clear.

Hey, thanks for asking! Also for your input. In the end, I figure the work is already done. What's the worst that could happen if I release it? Nobody uses it? It's all of ten kilobytes, so no loss here. Besides, skin developers that might not use it could still load it up while they're developing to get a better view to see tweaks they're making to their skins.

Legend Outfit No Equipment DOWNLOAD (10 KB) (http://tfads.com/gtafpics/lara/legendnoequipment.zip)

Known issue: Hair band doesn't show up. To fix this would mean introducing the more distracting ghost backpack wirframe side effect.

Other uses: This mod will completely remove the guns and grapple from all outfits. It removes the gun belt from all models except Golden and Classic. It removes the backpack, hips, boots, hair tie, and wrists from Anniversary. It removes the wrists from Camouflage. It removes the hair tie and wrists from Manor Sport. It removes the hair tie from Wetsuit.

Wetsuit is really the only other outfit this works well with.

@Yatu: To answer your question, the only other thing I'm working on right now is just another skin mod. It's a concept project, so I'm going to try and be a perfectionist with it. As such, it might take some time. But I'll post when it's finished :)

From the moment I set out to make this one, it was nothing but disappointment after setback after disappointment. BUT I'm just so stubborn that it turned out pretty decent considering the outfit it was made for is very different from the outfit itself. As such, if you look closely (please don't :p), you'll see her shorts AND leg skin together to make pants. Likewise, you'll see the bottom of Legend's shirt fleshed to preserve the midriff.

As the promo image indicates, this is my Gwen Stefani "I'm Just a Girl" skin. For authenticity comparison, consult the video here (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Ygqew4RxIg8&mode=related&search=) (not the outfit she's wearing in the very beginning). Differences include my skin has default boots instead of the shoes she's wearing, the back of the shirt is not scooped out, and this shirt has sleeves. I would've fleshed the sleeves, but they're so 3-dimensional on the model, it would've looked bad. I MIGHT have been able to scoop out the back, but I had been fighting against so many roadblocks successfully, I didn't want to press my luck and risk losing the day's worth of time I had into this. I have a new respect for those of you putting out ornate skins!

Why keep the boots? I was successful in turning her gloves into hands (thanks to the Manor Sport skin, which also helped with the midriff). I was going to turn her wrist straps into the bracelets she's wearing in the video, but this model uses that same texture for the boot straps. So if I tried to make it look metallic, the boots would've had blaring straps. Or if I blanked them out for the boots, she'd have invisible wrists :hea: Too bad too because the upper of the boot was supposed to be the part of her pants after the zipper or stripe ends. Oh well. I really hope the day comes when we can replace models or at least remesh them.

Platinum blonde isn't easy to pull off without making it look like a flat coloring book. I did the best I could while retaining SOME form of texture (though the promo pic doesn't depict this very well). The lines on the shirt are jagged, but aren't on the texture. The model looks great at most distances so I wasn't concerned about that since it's largely out of my control. Otherwise, I tried to do everything based off the video. Like Gwen or not, she often dresses like Lara. I was looking at some of her other videos and I could probably do another two or three just of her. If you use this with my Legend No Equipment mod (http://tfads.com/gtafpics/lara/legendnoequipment.zip) (recommended), her hair tie will be blanked. The only other "error" in the promo pic.

D'oh! I forgot to mention that this mod also eliminates her getting wet after leaving water and her getting dirty as she rolls around a lot. I know, I like the wet effect too. But as you can see using just default outfits, unless you're using Anniversary, it's not mapped right. That and the fact that I actually changed which areas were skin and which were clothing.

This is pretty much finished. I sorry to say I couldn't really solve the issue with the neck, and although it can be done id have to resort to having an entire area be one color or pattern, which I really don't want since it would defeat the purpose of having new skin textures with a better flesh quality. If you don't like the necklace/collar I gave her, feel free to suggest something. I myself wish the UV's were better so I could make it skin, but to be honest it doesn't look half bad and I completely forget about it while I'm in game.

I'd also like to point out that at really close distances you can see is slight outline in the shoulders, this isn't so much a texture issue but a geometry issue. But again, you hardly ever notice it in game unless you are really close up are at the right angle all the time.

All that said and done I hope you enjoy it and again feel free to make suggestions. I miss things sometimes so if you spot something, point it out and I'll see what I can do.

Over time I might fix more things and included additional textures but I've decided to include a download link to those who like it how it is now.

Hey everyone, I hope you all had a good 4th of July. Presumably by now most of you have already beat TRA but never the less I've decided to upload (or reupload) my Jill Valentine skin for those who preferred her without the collar.

It took a bit of tweaking to get it looking right but its not without its problems and can always use some improvement. I'm under the impression that the normals or surrounding geometry are affected by light slightly differently so up close the textures may not blend together as well but after thinking about it, I figured it wouldn't be that big of a deal since the camera is usually so far away.
