I'm not purchasing it because my PS2 broke long ago and I'm not buying a new one to play this one game :o

Actually, no. I think UT said somewhere that the demo played like a slideshow for him! :p I think you're missing out on SOMETHING if you don't get to play this game, UT. The feedbacks have been quite stellar so far.

Yes, I could hire it, but I'd rather have the whole package for my first play.

I feels all left out now... :( This is the only TRA thread I can contribute to.

If you guys could wait until at least next Saturday for my opinions on TRA it would be much appreciated.

I am in a holding pattern. From things I've read and seen, some things are concerning me and dragging down my excitement for the game so far. I am awaiting opinions of those I hold in high reguard as to whether these are major issues or easily overlooked and that the game is still enjoyable, exciting, challenging and rewarding to play. I am starting to see some of those opinions trickle in. I do not want to buy TRA and feel as disappointed as I did with legend.

If it's any help, we've quite a number of Legend detractors that have restored some faith in the series after playing TRA. I think that says something.

Although, since I don't have the game yet, I can't really say for sure how Anniversary will be FOR ME. But I'm confident it will be a great experience, a great 15-hour (or even more) experience. :tmb:

I don't think this one is going to sell as well as Legend. Legend wasn't THAT good of a game but it had a really hyped release.

I think after Legend people are expecting this one to be bad. hope we get plenty of sales because if this one crashes we don't get our 3rd movie.:(

I preordered it, but I am now thinking I might see if I can cancel the order. It's bad enough she rund like she has no gravity under her feet, but other things I am reading make me feel very disappointed.

Manual grab actually sounds useless and almost like a punishment. She still can't hold her breath worth a crap. Wall running? Definately Princess of Persia now 100%. Camera sounds like a real mess. Levels filled with timed chores (sorry, but it does sound more like chores than playing fun). Invisible walls where she should be able to go. Sounds like she still does the little bunny hops. AOD: twinkly things with a hand to tell her to grab the candy bar in the sewer (at least I hope those were candy bars), Legend: Gigantic, shiny weewards and Miss PoP twisting her head towards it like she needed an exorcist, and now...glowy artifacts....ooooooooh...those will be tough to spot...:hea: No unlimited backpack, no save anywhere, just that horrible checkpoint crap again.

That's only part of what I have read so far. Sorry, but it does not sound like a TR game to me. Just because it looks sort of like a TR game that doesn't make it so.

I will read a little more and then decide if I will call and cancel my order. What a shame; I actually was falling for all the hype and thought that this game would be worth it.
