Obelisk puzzle

Okay I've matched the pictures to those pillars that got raised in order but the door is not opening. Why is this?

Assuming, my back is facing the door that needs to be opened, here is what I've done from left to right:

1st: Two white cups
2nd: Green cup
3rd: Blue vase
4th: Female figurine

Happened to me too, I cant remember how the puzzle exaclty was, but just randomly turn them some times. It will eventually work when they are placed right.
You will hear this.. special sound when they hit right.
At least it was like that for me. :)

Go back and check the wall murals in the side rooms again, l believe you have the 1st and 4th around the wrong way

yeah the wall murals inside the rooms are the key to solve this.

Check have the lines on the movable and stable parts met exactly.

actually, the key to this puzzle is to have each pillar facing each other with a like picture, to do this,
1.move the pillar at the back right (facing into the room from checkpoint) two times in any direction, and
2. do the same for the front left pillar.

if that doesn't work then move then move the front left pillar 4 times in the OTHER direction.

follow this step bystep and it works every time.
