View Full Version : Anniversary Profiles
Each time I start TR Anniversary PC version, I get a message "Unable to load profile" so that I am Unable to restart game from where I last saved my game.
Where are the saved games stored on my computer and can I retrieve them from there? It's driving me nuts having to start the game from the beginning every time. This is the first TR game I have tried on PC and I am wondering whether I would have been better off sticking to Playstation version.

You have already made a thread about this very subject, right here: http://www.tombraiderforums.com/showthread.php?t=97175 (right under this one infact). Please do NOT make multiple threads on the same issue please - just be patient and wait for someone to reply to it.
And if it got corrupted then there isn't much to do. You will have to start again and remember to use the save function in future.
Sorry for repeating the question, I am new to forums.
I don't think anything is corrupted as I have re-installed the game from scratch several times. I can save my game without any problem, the trouble is when I return to the game and get the message "Unable to load profile" and have to start game from the beginning. Has anyone else had this problem?
^ Are you the only user of that PC?
Do you have administrator rights?
Yes I have admin rights. I have re-loaded the game yet again but still get the message "Unable to load profile" The game plays ok and I can save game without
any trouble at all. Where should I look on my computer to find saved games?

I don't know for sure since I don't have TRA yet, but check the "My Documents" folder to see if there is a TRA folder with your saves. Several of Crystal's past games have put the saves there.
I noticed the issue myself today. Searched on google and only came up with this forum! Did try out eidos website and noticed this nugget to help you out. It's a workaround...haven't tried it myself but going to after this. Hope they patch this bug soon.

How much of a bodge....well at least it works
Many thanks smegStar, this workaround certainly helps even though it takes some doing. I too hope Eidos sort this bug soon. You have probably saved me about £25.00 as I had just about given up on the pc game and was going to buy the PS version today.
^ Reading today's Tech Support I must say the patch for TRA must be published ASAP - to many nasty bugs connected not only with gameplay
