Those are beautiful! The third one reminds me of the Catacombs in TR4! I think it's the Catacombs level...

Just mess about with it. Don't start off with any particular scene in mind, otherwise you'll end up tearing your hair out because you probably won't get it to look anything like you want it to in your mind. Start off with the terrain generator, check out what happens when you put this slider here and this slider here, and switch 'em round and tweak 'em until it looks good. Leave the terrain texture until later... Add a bit of water, not too much (set the height to around 100m then lower or raise it as you see fit, it defaults at -300m so it doesn't appear in the scene), and see how it looks when you do a quickie render. You can work out the rest of the functions after that. No worries, it's nowhere as complicated and evil as 3DS Max or Maya or anything. http://www.tombraiderforums.com/images/smilies/tongue.gif

Terragen (http://www.planetside.co.uk/terragen)

All I do is change settings at random and wait for something to show up. http://www.tombraiderforums.com/images/smilies/tongue.gif
