Just wondering? I walked into the main room and nearly fainted. I guess Im in for the ride of a life. Im on 2hrs 30 now, SFF was 1.30-2.00 hours in the original, how does it compare?

Got the game last night, made it to St Francis Folly in about 4 hours (non continuous) gameplay, watched the cut scene with Pierre then stopped there for the night, it was after midnight. Will continue again to play the folly later today. It does look a bit diabolical though.

It took me just over 2 hours to do the Folly.
Amazing level. I didn't even get all the artifacts.
About 2 hours. Got 5 artifacts.
It took me around an hour and a half first time around, didnt get all the artifacts.

Prepare to roll on the floor laughing....I spent almost 8 hours in the Folly! However, 2 of them were spent in Damocles - but before I got to the gods' rooms at all, it took me a bit to work out the route round the walls. When I played the original it took about 1 hour 10 minutes - and that was with the doors on timers.

well i'm up to midas palce and thats taken me 7 and a bit hours, spaced over a week, to get to the folly i was on at least 4-5 hour mark, but then again i do like to wander about and i am a perfectionist needing all the artifacts and relics, the game is amazing so far, can't wait to keep playing and seeing how the rest of the game looks, i never actually finished the original, so maybe this time i'll finish the updated version lol!

Well i spent lot of tibia in Atlas too.
First, i didin't know that we needed to rotate that thing and i tried to jump several times, then when i was running from the globe i tried to reach the switch without success instead of hitting the switch first.
Took me 2 hours :)
Im dreading the time trial :yik:

Lol, in the original I was in St.FF for days, TRA one about 3 hours? :o
It took me 2 hours and 8 minutes the first time in TRA :D. This level took me the longest.
8 Hours? Damn I dont understand that, Im up to 6 hours total play time and Im in Palace Midas.

Oh I understand!
When I reached St.Francis Folly I was like on 4-5 hours total playin' time, then when I moved on on2 Palace Midas I was already on like... 8-9 hours total, so it took me... let's c 9 - 5 = 4 So 2 complete teh Folly it took me like 4-5 hours, but I also was like a scavenger 'n collected all teh artifacts along the way! :D

Looking back, SFF was 2:40.
I'm surprised that I took 3:20 to finish Sanctuary of the Scion!

I am not the most expert Raider, and I have already spent 3 1/2 hours in SFF. That's after completing only one god room and not including me dying several times. This is a long game lol.

Hehe - keep it up, Legend, and you could beat my 8 hour record :D
Yes, I'll be trying the St Francis Folly time trial soon, which I just know will be quite challenging!:D

It took me 2 hours to get up to SFF (as Caves and the Valley were already spoiled for me... yes, the whole level :(). It then took me an hour and a half to get through the Folly! :yik: I also played almost non-stop yesterday, and I'm up to Tomb of Tihocan, not with all the artefacts/relics yet.
I must say, TRA's St. Francis' Folly is the epitome of Tomb Raider. Perilous ledges, dizzying heights, non-linear and multiple routes, bats coming out of nowhere (they have done a good job of animal placement so far! I screamed a lot! :D), and ]1 hour+ times..... this level is just perfect!
2:24:xx on first playthrough with all artifacts and 28:xx time-trial on second attempt.
29 minutes and 28 seconds...
Of course that's on time trial. Original walkthrough took about 1 and some hour, maybe 2...
But really you should take your time going through the levels (at least the first time)... Run around the colosseum and take a look at the sights.
It took me about 3 hrs 20 mins because I was going slowly and I missed a few jumps... well, a lot of jumps actually. I want the game to last, so I don't mind taking my time.
It took me 1:49:17 to complete the Folly on my first try... :D

1 hour and 50 minutes, the same time it took to beat all of Peru! :p I missed one artifact too. My first missing treasure so far... :pi:

It took me nearly 5 hours. Then again, I did have like 1 hour hurling myself at relics and the scenery. It all looked so beautiful.
i have yet to be in SSF, in this new one, is larson still taking pot shots at lara as she traverse it just like it was in classic TR?
No he doesent take shots but you do see him at the very beggining of the level.
for the first time it toke me almost 5 hours to complete the level!!

I never finished the origibal either lol. I only made it to the colloseum, so everything past that point will be brand new to me. And it's taking me 2:45 hours since I've started St. Francis and I can't figure out how to get out of the Damocles room! lol I love this game.

damocles room is easy but a evil nasty room, i spent 20 mins tops in their if your stuck on the floor puzzle just watch the sequence, remember you can spend longer on the white than the red squares! x

Took me 5 hours. I don't know how some of you are getting it done in 2-3, you must not be enjoying the game or stopping to look at things.

Took me 1 hour 24 minutes, all artifacts. About the same time it took me to do the first four levels.
It probably took me about 3 hours.
Took me an hour and 50 something minutes with all but one artifact. Got that artifact now though. Best TR level ever.
I got all six artifacts on my first attempt (which I can rarely accomplish), and it took me 1:38 if I remember correctly. :)
Took me just about an hour on the first go and I had six minutes to spare on the time travel. It's a fantastic level. A+

Getting to Atlas was the WORST. I swear I died over 9000 times. I think I eventually just wound up on the Atlas entrance by accident... Go figure.
It took me about 3 - 4 hours. I stopped and admired the architecture. lol. :(
