High security compound (Nevada)

For several days now I'm stuck at the big dish (sort of an antenna)which I moved.So there is a hole.
The walk trough tells me to drop off the lowest support to the ground level.
I can't . I always drop dead. Is there something I'm overlooking ?

Hi Mark -

The trick here is don't DROP off in the sense of just run over the edge - you're quite right that does kill Lara outright. Instead, BACK OFF the edge, CATCH IT, HANG & RELEASE. (I find the best place is on the right, just as Lara emerges into the open air from the corridor. If you do it this way, Lara will take about small medi-pack's worth of health damage. (But don't worry about this - you should have a good supply of medipacks by now, and if you're playing the PC version, you're not that far away from a crystal which will restore the damage - just make sure Lara has at least 50% health before going over.)

Alternatively - you can drop through the shaft that moving the satellite dish opens - the walk through doesn't recommend that, but I reckon it's worth a try on a rerun of the level, because though it's riskier in the short term, if you can pull it off, Lara is able to regain her weapons without suffering any health damage at all.
