for a while ive been really unhappy with my weight. ive gained 15 pounds w/in a few months. i cant even put my jeans on anymore. theres no way im buying all new jeans too. ive just got sooooooo many pairs. plus id like to keep the size i have.
but yeah ive tried to diet the past few months and i just havent really stuck to it. its hard to get a decent healthy lunch at school. there are salads but some have brown lettuce and others have this yucky cheese... soo i end up getting the o so healthy school lunch.
but to make a very long story short. today i just really broke down. so i talked with my mum and she said i should try slim fast. so i thought what the heck. couldnt hurt. i bought the shakes and a couple bars to try. every day im going to try to excercise for 30 mins or more. i do kick boxing for about 2 hours on mondays and wednesdays.
im going to try to keep this diet up. im feeling kinda good with myself. im sure ill feel even better when i can loose the weight i gained.

Don't go mad but try to exercise so that you get a little bit out of breath (a slow gentle stroll in the park is no good, a brisk march is called for!). Kick boxing is great, so is swimming or hill walking or cycling.

okay well the slim fast shakes are realllyy gross. i somehow managed to suck another one down this morning. i almost got sick tho :(
i had the bar for lunch with water. it wasnt as bad as the drink. im trying to count calories and today ive had about 800. i also went on a 3 mile walk. im also eating these lean cuisine and healthy choice dinners. theyre only about 210 calories.
im so hungry right now. id do anything for some cheezits or something. :(
Those slim fast things are a rip off, just eat things like fruit, salad, cereal, soup and a sensible dinner and you should be fine, make sure you drink about 8 glasses of water a day, i know it's alot but it helps with weight loss also you should aim to have about 1000 calories a day.

I would recommend the South Beach Diet, it worked GREAT for my parents. My dad lost 12 pounds in the first week! :eek: And my mom lost 6. They weren't obese or any thing either, they were just a little overweight. Mom was like 20 pounds overweight and Dad was about 30 I think. Any way, whem My mom first started the diet she was wearing size 12-14 pants and now she fits very comfortably into a size 8! :eek: Not just one brand of pants either, she can get all of her pants in that size. (lol, bet you can tell I am proud of her) hehe. She still kept all the weight off too. It's really healthey too, the first week was SUPER hard for them though because you can't have any sugar, but Splenda is a great substutute. Eventually you will be able to eat some more sugar, but not the first couple weeks. The meals were very filling for them too, but if you do this diet I'd hope you enhoyed cooking because you have to cook stuff like salmon and steak with lots of veggies. The good thing is you can eat until you are satisfied and you don't have to starve yourself. im very very against those diets. it isnt healthy to loose 10+ pounds ina week. plus you need carbs to burn energy which helps you loose weight. thanks for the ideas and support but i couldnt ever do those diets. its not that i dont think i cant do them, because im sure i could. but its really really not healthy to loose at that weight so soon.
ive given up on the slim fast bs. its just gross and id rather make myself throw up than drink that ****, which makes me feel like throwing up anways. :rolleyes: no wonder why all those people lost weight on it.
i really want to loose this weight. i dont really see much of a change and its been a week :(
