using outfit on level?

i always thought that unlocked outfit can only be use in the lara's mansion.. but recently i see some walkthrough videos and i found out that people had been using unlocked outfit when playing main quest... anyone know how to do that?

in the main menu when you select play game and the replay level you can change the outfit and difficulty there

yeh and also dont press x on the outfit lol go across using the arrows to change the outfit before pressing x to start the game. i always keep pressing x by accident lol
