miss the legend lara personality? ive been playing through anniversary and even though its better than legend in many ways, i started to miss the lara in legend and (dont kill me!) zip and alister. the thing is that when i play a game, read a book or watch a film, i like to get to know the character and understand their story but anniversary doesnt do it for me in that department! shes silent throughout the gameplay and so i feel like im not really getting to know her in the way i did in legend. i guess what im saying is that maybe the more talkative lara and the OCCASIONAL zip and allister comments really made me feel like i was part of the game! does anyone else feel like this?

yeah I do miss all those smart comments, I wasted most of my time going back to the journal just to listen. Its also really silent which most of the time makes the game sometimes scary..

No I do not miss that noisy *****. Silence is golden and it is smart to say nothing when it's not important.

I've played every official TR game known to humans. And I must say: Bring back Zip and Allistar in TRL2!

i thought she had a womenly fierocity, she was a tiger in a rabbit hole.

since then she has been turned out, in Anniversary she is timid and pasive... the perfect wife :D

no seriously though, i think the chronological point is between Anniversary (when she loses her "innocence" by killing Larson) and Legend is that she degenerates into a preverbial "monster" hell bent on discovering the truth of her parents deaths, stopping at nothing!

yeh, it's cliche, but thats the story :p love it or hate it (which i know many of you do):jmp:

miss the legend lara personality? Hells no. I don't miss the dreadful AOD personality either, but I do miss the classic grit-teeth, fire guns and ask no questions personality.

I guess you like the modern approach tomb raider legend offered. So do I but I really don't mind. :) I believe that Tomb Raider 8 is going to be silent but you never know.

And people, you're going to be sick because someone has their own opinion? If that's how things were I would be swimming in my own vomit from other people's opinion but I don't express that, do I?

There's no way I miss that impostor, who wears the 'Lara Croft' name in Legend.

No need to get to know Lara if you are Lara. ;)

Actually, talkative Lara and the two toilet brushes make me feel less like I'm the game. All I can do is watch and listen, but not act and make my own decisions. It's more like watching a movie than being in the game.
