Hi, how do you add a photo on here? How does it even get into the computer? I hope I don't need some mechnical equipment that's very expensive and too complicated. Hopefully there is somethings on my computer somewhere that magically takes in photo's like an atm. That's wishful thinking probrobly:)

Hi Isabella,
To get a photo on your puter you need a scanner or a digital camera. If you dont want to fork out all that money the next time you get some photos developed ask to have them put on a kodak disc ;)

Thanks for the tip. No one I know has a scanner. I always wondered what those were for. http://www.tombraiderforums.com/images/smilies/smile.gif

Hey Isabella,

You can pick up scanners pretty cheap I think. I just got one from a computer fair for 45.00. Not sure how that translates into your currency but its not bad for the UK.

I really would rather not buy a scanner at all. I still use the post for mailing most of the time and it probrobly would not be put to much use. Is there any other way? Thanks http://www.tombraiderforums.com/images/smilies/smile.gif

Yes there is another way. When you get your photos developed ask them to but them on a photo disc. Some places may not do this so you might have to look around. Then all you have to do is put the disc into your puter http://www.tombraiderforums.com/images/smilies/smile.gif

Hi Isabella. When I first started in computers only a few short years ago, before I even knew what a scanner was, I posted pics to a mate who scanned them for me and emailed them back. I then saved the pics on a floppy disk. Do you know anyone with a scanner?

If not, I'd be happy to do it for you.

Good morning George, or should I say afternoon to you? No, unfortunatley I don't know anyone who has a scanner. That's so nice of you to offer, are you sure? If it's not too much trouble, that would be great. Otherwise Tlr suggested finding a business that has scanners in their store.

Thanks George, Really I hope it's no trouble. http://www.tombraiderforums.com/images/smilies/smile.gif I appreciate it. I would feel kind of vain going into a store to scan my own photos. http://www.tombraiderforums.com/images/smilies/smile.gif
