IE sux... Netscape is slow... Neoplanet isnt too bad... Mozilla isnt the easiest to use and doesnt always support ActiveX... and Opera is simple, but yeah, simple...

if only the KDE Web Broswer on my Linux partition would work on my Windows partition, that would be nice...

im often going to my Linux partition to use the internet - its so much faster!!... less resources means faster web surfing... surf it up baby :D ... Pengiun style... ;) ...

as for windowz... IE will sufice... *note to self* - maybe i should make a web browser... http://www.tombraiderforums.com/images/smilies/privateeye.gif

That is a browser I've never seen before. I looks cool. I have only Internet Explorer, but it gives me a lot of problems, I think I might have to move to another browser, like Netscape or the tomb raider explorer, wich is very cool, with sounds and everything from angelina, the first movie of tomb raider. I'll put some screens later.

I hate to tell you this but Advanced Browser ripped it source code from the Avant Browser.

Draco, did you try the Mozilla all-in-one browser/email thing or did you use Firefox which is the standalone browser?

http://www.mozilla.org/products/firefox/

All in one...

But unless the browser in the browser only is better than the one in the all in one, it still sux balls...

Just try it and see what you think. It has a built in popup blocker no extra software required.

I already tried the pop up blocker...

btw, were you looking for an IE alternative because of the tabbed browsing or just IE alternative in general?

Advanced uses the IE shell it just has tabbed browsing that's why I asked.

MSIE 6 SP2 will have a built-in popup blocker, tabbed browsing etc. So if you want to move back you can whenever sp2 shows its face.

I'll keep that in mind...

I was looking for something that worked... http://www.tombraiderforums.com/images/smilies/tongue.gif

imo, IE running under WinXP with Norton IS is the best. I like IE's handling of bookmarks/favorites, because you can manage them like shortcuts (vs Mozilla's html file where you're more limited - can't save to desktop, etc.). WinXP let's you manage multiple windows easily by grouping them together on the taskbar so you don't need tabs, and the MS optional desktop manager allows multiple desktops (and is very stable) which helps. Finally, Norton's latest Internet Security, although a monster resource hog, is awesome if you have a fast computer. Goodbye pop-ups and spam too.

You can always fire up Opera if you just want to speed through pages.
